Gold is associated with base metal sulphides in quartz and quartz-carbonate reefs and stringer veins in a south-east trending structural |
corridor within granitic rocks. |
Ore bearing veins are both steeply dipping and flat lying. Extensive propylitic and argillic alteration are developed within the mineralised |
zone. Pyritisation of the granite is common. |
The veins are tensional fractures, with well developed comb quartz, laminated quartz and breccia textures.
